Iconic Emile and Ida overalls in khaki linen and viscose.
The dungarees have been in our collections for a few years now and are renewed each season with new materials, new colors, and small details. The ruffles on the straps and the edges of the bib, the adjustable cross straps in the back are the basis of these overalls. This year's outstanding details: two pockets that fit between the side seam and the stitched cut along the leg and two patch pockets with stitching on the buttocks. It has a very comfortable wide cut.
Linen is hypoallergenic, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial. It is ideal for sensitive skin and its soothing properties are even recommended for people with skin conditions. A natural insulator, it offers thermal comfort in winter by regulating body temperature without irritating the skin. In summer, linen is breathable, provides coolness, and can absorb up to 20% of humidity, a record! Well-being and relaxation are on the agenda.
Linen is very resistant and durable, and like a good wine, it improves with time. Where cotton loses its hold and quality, linen gains in flexibility and beauty. Other qualities are that it does not warp or fluff.
The dungarees are made in Portugal in a family workshop near Porto. It is dyed in an Oeko-Tex certified factory, which has an eco-responsible approach to the use, waste, and reprocessing of water. These craftsmen work in a closed circuit, reprocessing and reusing water.
