Long-sleeved dress with crochet collar in navy blue velvet cotton. The distinctive thread weave reveals a pretty chevron pattern where satin lines alternate with matte lines. Flower-embroidered smocks at the front and a flat back to the mid-point of the blouse. Then the gathers generated by the smocks and those supported by the cut-out back give the fullness and ease needed for little girls' movements, from the most well-behaved to the most rambunctious. The long sleeves are tightened at the wrists with elastic for a ruffled effect.
