Description

Blouse in tartan cotton khadi where red and blue intertwine, underlined by black lines. A blouse with a crew neckline, balloon sleeves tightened at the cuffs by two buttons and a slightly flared cut. No button placket, but a small slit in the back closed by a button covered, like those on the cuffs, with fabric.
Khadi is a fabric spun and woven by hand in Indian villages. Once considered the fabric of the poor because of its rural origins and irregular, coarse texture, today khadi is becoming more diversified, more refined and more supple. Its rarity, the irregularity of its weave and the beauty of its craftsmanship make it an exceptional fabric.
