Emile et Ida is a ready-to-wear brand created by Delphine Papiernik in 2010.
Originally exclusively for children, dedicated to the carefree spirit of happy days, holidays and the playground,
The company's fashion combines freedom of movement and elegance to dress lively children
Building on its success, the brand is extending its creative vocabulary to women from 2017. The clothes tell the story of a daily life full of poetry and softness: timeless pieces with a lot of work (hand embroidery, smocks) are mixed with a contemporary and casual wardrobe. Thus, the collections, made from the finest materials in committed factories, are passed on from generation to generation and dress up every moment of life.
Delphine left her job to create the clothes she dreamed of for children. Supported and encouraged by her father Emile and a friend, the three of them embarked on the adventure
During this period, her house was transformed into a workshop and office where her children and their friends were the first models. A first collection that already benefits from the know-how and quality "made in Portugal".
The team leaves for a trip to India to meet the Mukesh (pretty golden metal peas) which will mark the starting point of a close collaboration with Vikram, our local partner.
