Iconic Emile et Ida dungarees are made of organic stretch cotton canvas with medium bleaching. It has been part of our collections for a few years and is renewed each season with new materials and colors. With ruffles on the straps and the edges of the bib, adjustable cross straps in the back, two western pockets, and two patch pockets on the buttocks, these overalls are a must-have piece in the Emile et Ida wardrobe. It has a slim fit but remains comfortable thanks to the addition of elastane. This synthetic material, mixed with cotton, gives elasticity to the fabric. We use it in small doses because, although it is polluting, there is no clean equivalent with the same properties. It is manufactured in Portugal in a family workshop located near Porto. It is dyed in an Oeko-Tex-certified factory, which has an eco-responsible approach to the use, waste, and reprocessing of water. These artisans work in a closed circuit, reprocessing and reusing water.
