This is Isabelle's favorite dress made in velvet. She regrets that her daughter is not a little girl anymore and doesn't wear a dress. She would have associated it with a blouse or a sweater depending on the weather.
The skirt gathered, is mounted on an elasticated belt on the sides. The 2 patch pockets are embellished with a hemmed scalloped satin stitch and embroidered monogram of the brand. The bibs are bordered in front and in the back of a flounce finished as the pockets.
The opening on the entire height of the dress closes with natural mother-of-pearl buttons and assemblies are mounted in English seams which strengthen the resistance.
