They also add solidity, making for a longer-lasting piece. Synthetic fibers also enhance wool's insulating power and make it easier to care for. It's knitted in moss stitch, which makes it a little more original than the many knitted in stockinette stitch. The neckline is crew-necked - the wind won't get through there - and bordered, like the shoulders, by a double-layer insert band knitted in 1x1 rib. Wooden buttons close the full-height button placket and two mini-pockets enliven the front.
