Blue and ecru gingham cotton blouse. Here is a fabric for all the nostalgic of the 60s, Saint-Tropez and Brigitte Bardot. The recipe for this new shape? Soft and thin fabric, a flared cut but tightened at the waist by an elasticated belt in the back and some gathers on the front, natural mother-of-pearl buttons all over. Then we refined the details of the short sleeves gathered at the bottom and the large flat collar finished with a small flounce. Shorter than our usual blouses, it stops at the hips so it can be worn over a skirt, pants, or shorts depending on the occasion. One of my favorite pieces from this summer's collection!
